Once Upon A Time on The Orient Express offers our guests an exclusive guided journey through the history of the Orient Express, allowing you to relive the experience of famous travellers who boarded the train decades ago.
For the first time ever, two original 1930 train carriages which are National Treasures of France and a 158-year-old locomotive have been shipped from France and sit with pride within a 2000m2 exhibition space located within the Gardens by the Bay, Singapore.
Revel in the glory of these original carriages and more than 300 precious artefacts as our guide takes you on a journey back into the days of famous patrons such as Tolstoy, Trotsky, Lawrence of Arabia and the spy Mata Hari.
We will present some of the most extraordinary objects showcasing decades’ old history that retraces the legacy of the train, allowing you to learn about events that transformed the world, and shaped the map.
Peruse old uniforms, marketing paraphernalia, paintings, priceless porcelains and even an original Louis Vuitton trunk used then.
